Our Story
Irene Outfitters is made up of 3 guides that have been hunting with and around each other for years. All of our guides are well versed in waterfowl knowledge and habits. We came up with the idea to start guiding one day in the blind. Our goal is to share our knowledge and passion for the sport while providing an outstanding hunting experience.
Our Services
We offer an truly unique experience in the fact that we offer the opportunity to come out and help set up with us and learn our tactics, or have everything set up by the time you get to the field. When booking with Irene outfitters you will be provided with a knowledgeable guide, quality decoys, and adequate land to hunt.
What to expect.
What to expect when choosing Irene Outfitters is a crew dedicated to scouting and choosing the best location to bring the best odds of success for your hunt. Your guide will reach out to you the day before the hunt to set up a meeting place and time. The morning of the hunt your guide will meet you at the meeting place you and your guide have agreed upon the day before and will then take you to the hunting location. At Irene Outfitters we believe in sharing our knowledge in waterfowl hunting, so we offer the opportunity to help the guide set up or have your hunt preset up for you prior to your arrival. Once set your guide will provided quality calling and knowledge of the birds in the area. Blind snacks will be provided for the group during the hunt. If group selects to do an all day hunt the guide will provide lunch. After the hunt your guide will clean the birds and vacuum seal your harvest for travel.
What You Need
When you choose Irene Outfitters all you need to bring to be ready Is
- Proper clothes for the weather
- A Shotgun
- Ammo - Steel, Bismuth, tungsten, or other non toxic loads
- A cooler to transport birds home
- A valid Illinois waterfowl License and federal stamp
